Students will learn and develop the skill of reading and listening between the lines, addressing various current and past marketing and news articles to determine what the writer is trying to get across. They will develop analytical problem solving and reflective reading abilities to further their leaning and understanding of various forms of media. An emphasis will be placed on learning and applying various writing tools depending on the intended audience. Students will learn various sentence types, sentence structures and styles of writing to further their writing ability.
